Nearly 30 years ago Carol and I created the idea of a photography business that catered to people who love companion animals. It started with a tiny advertisement in the telephone directory (does anyone use those anymore?!) The phone started ringing immediately. Soon after, we expanded to offer family, high school senior, executive, product and other photography services.

The business was home-based at first. Eight years later, we leased a location and three years after that, we purchased a building and property specifically for the business. We were at the Abbott Road location for nearly 15 years.

Beginning early next year, we will come full circle as the studio moves into a brand new building that is currently being constructed on our property in South Anchorage. Our architect helped design the building for indoor portraits with a posing porch that is just 50’ from Southfork Little Campbell Creek. It’s surrounded by a forested acre that features Fiddle Head Ferns, trees, gardens and our myriad of props for families, high school seniors, dogs, cats and other animal companions.

I’ve been bringing our customers to this property for years. The light is fantastic for photography. Even more, it features a completely secure, fenced-in park setting that allows kids and pups to frolic and be themselves.

We’re so excited to share this amazing space with you. We’ll transition to the new location January, 2019 with a 30th year anniversary/grand opening in May.

Thank you for supporting our business these past three decades. A brand new chapter is about to begin.
